~Sally’s Diary~
Today, at Mantabuan Michelle found a giant frogfish, sitting next to some sponge coral. As we were about to leave, he decided to leave us instead, so we were lucky to see him actually swim. He was swimming into the current, with minimum effort and without hardly any movement. He gently swam off into the blue, it looked like he was eating plankton as well, as the mouth kept opening and closing. We decided to call him Mary Poppins, as it looked like he had his feet sticking outwards, and just needed an umbrella!

今日、マンタブアン島でミッシェルとダイビング中に、スポンジコーラルでじっとしているカエルアンコウを見つけたのよ。ひととおり観察して、次の場所へ行こうとしたところ、なんとこのカエルアンコウ普段はじっとして動かないのに突然泳ぎだしたの。流れに沿って軽快に泳いでブルーの海に消えていったわ。それにプランクトンを食べていたみたいでクチをパクパクと開けたり閉じたりもしていたわ。ミッシェルと私、このカエルアンコウに「メアリーポピンズ」と名づけたのよ。だって足ひれを杖のようについてピョンピョンと飛び跳ねているように見えるもの。これで傘があったら完璧ね！
