Was a big pleasure for us in Pom Pom to host an Educational Group organize by Malaysia Tourism from Italy.
A total of 18 persons from Italy (1 Malaysia Tourism Officer, 15 Travel Agents, 1 Journalist and 1 Manager of Malaysia Airline) spent 3 days in our resort to discover our facilities and services but overall to enjoy our beautiful island.
Let me say that Pom Pom welcome them with a beautiful arrival day: calm and very clear blue water in our lagoon and a beautiful landscape thanks to a sunny day.
The first day ended with a “dolce farniente” on our beach and the baby turtle surprise in the evening.
The second day in the morning Pom Pom showed them the other face: the rain, we use the morning to explain them our resort. In the afternoon the sun came out again and we were able to snorkel and dive in Mantabuan and Bohey Dulang.
In the evening after dinner some Pom Pom local staff made a show of local dance and song, most of them enjoyed the show and learned a “new” dance.
Today, unfortunately, was time to say goodbye; we believed that the sunny Pom Pom left a good souvenir in their hearts. Pom Pom was again as it beautiful to say thanks to them.

E’ stato un immense piacere per noi in Pom Pom ospitare un Educational organizzato dall’Ente Turismo Malesia di Milano. Sono arrivati in 18 ( 1 Dirigente dell’Ente Turismo Malesia, 15 Agenti di Viaggio, 1 Giornalista e 1 Dirigente della Malaysia Airline) e sono stati con noi per tre giorni duranti i quali hanno scoperto la nostra organizzazione, i nostri servizi ma soprattutto hanno assaporato la nostra isola.
Lasciatemi dire che Pom Pom li ha ricevuti mostrandosi al suo meglio: una laguna coll’acqua calmissima e cristallina e una spiaggia dai colori accesi da un magnifico sole.
Il primo giorno è passato crogiolandosi sulla spiaggia e nel mare più la sorpresa della nascita delle tartarughine alla sera.
La mattina del secondo giorno Pom Pom ha mostrato anche il suo secondo aspetto: la pioggia; ciò non ci ha impedito di mostrare loro il nostro resort. Nel pomeriggio, col sole tornato alto, abbiamo effettuato un’escursione nelle vicine isole di Mantabuan e Bohey Dulang per immersioni con le bombole o snorkeling.
La giornata si è conclusa con una rappresentazione di danze locali organizzate dal nostro staff locale. Spettacolo apprezzato da tutti, molti fra loro hanno anche imparato una nuova danza.
Oggi, purtroppo, è arrivato il momento per loro di salutare Pom Pom che con il suo splendido sole credo abbia lasciato un buon ricordo dentro di loro.
Pom Pom era al suo massimo per dire un grazie di cuore a tutti loro.
