On 15.Jan, Dive staff & Turtle patrol team had done the maintenance and replacing sand at our hatchery. It is important to keep the hatchery clean with fresh sand to avoid getting bacteria infection from the previous nests and also it helps to remove the ants nests which is the predator of the turtle eggs. Good job and thank you for all the volunteer staffs for your cooperation ! We are ready to protect  the coming new nests of this year 2013!

1/15、ダイブスタッフとパトロールチームで海亀保護施設(ハッチャリー)のメンテナンスと砂の入れ替え作業を実施。ハッチャリーの砂を新しく補充して清潔にしておくことは新しい海亀の巣のバクテリア感染を防ぐためにも重要なこと。それに砂の取替え作業は卵や赤ちゃん海亀の天敵となる蟻の巣を除去することもできるのよ。作業に参加してくれたボランティアのみんな、よくやったね！これで2013年の新しい巣を保護する準備もバッチリ！
